A Global Career Rooted in Problem-Solving

Yasmine’s career began at Lehman Brothers in London, where she gained invaluable experience navigating the high-stakes world of investment banking. Her time there laid the foundation for her next chapter at McKinsey & Company, where she thrived as an Associate Partner across several offices in Europe and the United States, including Paris, Madrid, and New York.

During her tenure at McKinsey, Yasmine specialized in private equity and healthcare, often stepping into some of the most complex challenges her clients faced. She developed a reputation for blending rigorous analysis with a deep understanding of people dynamics, which sparked her passion for leadership development and advisory work.

Her professional path then took a bold turn toward entrepreneurship, where Yasmine founded a tech startup. This entrepreneurial endeavor allowed her to take ownership of her ideas, tackle operational challenges, and deliver innovative solutions. Beyond founding her own business, Yasmine also managed a growth equity investment vehicle and served as a venture partner for early-stage investments. These experiences expanded her expertise in leadership, strategic growth, and creating value across industries.

A Return to Advisory Work and Joining ghSMART

Yasmine’s connection to ghSMART isn’t new. She first encountered the firm several years ago when she was invited to explore a role here. At that time, her entrepreneurial ambitions took precedence, but she never forgot the meaningful conversations and values she encountered during the recruitment process.

Fast-forward to earlier this year: after achieving success in entrepreneurship and investment, Yasmine found herself drawn back to advisory work, particularly the opportunity to help leaders unlock their full potential. When she reconnected with ghSMART, she knew it was the right time—and the right place—to take the next step in her career.

Her decision to join was reinforced by the people she met along the way, including several former McKinsey colleagues now thriving at ghSMART. For Yasmine, this was a testament to the firm's ability to attract and retain exceptional talent.

“This work is incredibly dynamic,” Yasmine explained. “Every leader and situation is unique. You have to approach challenges with both a proven methodology and the ability to adapt to the context at hand. It’s about creating solutions that are as personalized as they are impactful.”

For Yasmine, leadership advisory is more than just a professional pursuit; it’s deeply personal. Helping leaders grow, navigate pivotal moments, and achieve their goals fuels her passion for this work. Outside of work, Yasmine embraces a life of exploration, connection, and constant learning. A true global citizen, she has lived in multiple countries, thriving on the opportunity to immerse herself in diverse cultures and perspectives. Recently, she balanced a whirlwind trip to Milan, combining client observations with ghSMART's onboarding bootcamp, and she's already looking forward to her next adventure. Her natural curiosity about the world extends beyond her professional career, fueling her desire to travel, learn, and engage with people from all walks of life.

Yasmine also cherishes her roots in France, often drawing inspiration from her upbringing to stay grounded and authentic. Whether she's navigating challenges or building relationships, she approaches everything with a deep sense of care and genuine connection. Her cultural background influences how she leads and interacts with others, helping her maintain both authenticity and a thoughtful, people-centered approach to her work and personal life.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Yasmine’s personality is marked by a striking balance of contrasts. During her university years, she served as the president of a hip-hop association, an unexpected role that reflects her creative, energetic side. It’s a world where spontaneity and expression thrive, contrasting with her professional focus on complex analytical problem-solving and deep, reflective thinking. This unique duality enriches both her personal and professional life, allowing her to approach challenges with energy and precision.

This duality is not a contradiction for Yasmine, but rather a complementary aspect of who she is. She believes the balance between creativity and precision enhances every part of her life. Whether she's leading an event with a DJ or diving into the details of a project at work, she fully embraces both sides of her character, making her an even more dynamic and engaging person both professionally and personally.
